?·pR THE CITY OF HOPE 208 West Eighth Street / Los Angeles, California 90014/Telephone: 626-4611 ?╟≤ 622-601 April 25, 1969 Mr. A1 Freeman The Sands Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada Dear A1: As a result of our meeting on April 21st in General Nigro's office, all points described in your letter of agreement to me dated January 10, 1969, with the exceptions of those to be amended herein, are concise and acceptable. In connection with our meeting, and in accordance with General Nigro's decision, the following will supersede items in your January 10th correspondence. Page 2, Item #E The Sands Hotel will provide complimentary accommodations and RFB for 40 athletes, presenters and entertainers who will be used on the show. Accommodations and RFB will be provided for 3 staff members which will also be used as work rooms for a maximum of 4 days. Page 3, Items 3, 3A, 3B The Sands Hotel is to receive 5 audio-video and 6 audio mentions which will be included in the program in such a manner as to insure reasonable assurance they will remain in the tapes which are viewed throughout the United States. Page 3, Item 4 Shall be deleted from the agreement for reasons outlined at the April 21st meeting. In the event Air West will provide available space as requested, all Sportsmen's Club members and guests will use that carrier. The one exception being a prior commitment with Trans World Airlines to utilize their 1:10 P.M. flight to Las Vegas on Friday, June 27th. I am confident we are now in complete accord. Best regards.
