    itPk inktiekicfrk "kirk 'k-kicitick'k'kii'k ARRANGEMENTS COMMITTEE ********************** DUTIES; OPERATION: !?֪ Supervise the physical set-up for all meetings and functions in the Convention Center. 2, Supervise the use of the public address system, lights and air conditioning during meetings and functions* 3. Supervise the crowd control at all entrances to meetings and functions, 4* Arrange place cards at the speakers table for each event* 5, Assist with the assembly and entrance of head table guests, 6, Police the reserved tables and seats at meetings and functions. 7, Supervise the collection of tickets and invitations for receptions and banquets, and deliver all tickets and invitations collected to the Managing Director. 8, Handle the distribution of printed materials at meetings and functions* 9, Provide and supervise ushers for meetings and functions. With the exception of the NATO Banquet, the physical set-up of the Auditorium for the World Congress sessions and Briefing Rooms A, B and C will be handled by Andrews, Bartlett & Associates. The physical set-up for the NATO Banquet, with the exception of the speakers table and bandstand, will be handled by Southern Cross Retail and Industrial Catering Corporation, who have the contract for the Banquet and the concessions. The stage and bandstand physical arrangements for the NATO Banquet wiH be handled by Andrews, Bartlett 6c Associates. The ARRANGEMENTS COMMITTEE need only to inspect the physical set-up for each event to see that it is done in accordance with the instructions of the Managing Director. Professional personnel will be employed by the Managing Director to police . the building, inside and out, handle crowd control at entrances to meeting and function rooms, and serve as badge checkers for the meetings and ticket takers for receptions. Tickets at the banquet are to be collected by the waiter serving each table. The ARRANGEMENTS COMMITTEE is responsible for picking up all tickets and invitations collected, both by professional doormen and by the waiters, turning them over to the Managing Director for accounting and auditing purposes.
