The G.M. people were wonderful and courteous and very enthusiastic ?╟÷ they seemed to know all about Angelita* s Bread and its sales record, hut in my mind* they did not know exactly what to do about tying up with this project* even though they have had tremendous experience with similar products. I listened to the officers talk about the bread and waited until they had asked me my ideas before I spoke up. Here again* they seemed only lukewarm as far as taking action was concerned until X showed them the MA Little Slice of long Ago'* picture campaign, and also the way we endorsed the checks with the Protestant, Catholic and Jewish names listed as such. X believe this sort of clinched the whole deal, for then we started to get down to brass tacks, and out of the discussion the following points were evolved as a pretty good basis for all our future dealings: 1, General Mills would definitely like to tie up with Angelica's Bread ?╟÷ they have tested the bread ?╟÷ they have seen the public reaction to it ?╟÷ they like our organizations 1 setup ?╟÷ they like the charity basis ?╟÷ and they seem to welcome the advertising and promotion help that we outlined. 2# General Mills officers will meet with Regan Bakeries this coming Monday to set up technical talks and details, This will
