I agree.THE ANGEL6REA0 FOUNDATION THE SAN D S HOTEL LAS VEGAS, NEV AD A DUD L E Y 2 - 7 1 0 0 7/31/5* SPECIAL REPORT TO TRUSTIES; On Tuesday, July 29, I met with General Mill# executives in Minneapolis to discuss their interest in the Angelita*s Bread project. This interest, 1 believe, stemmed from the enthusiasm of Cedric Adams, who is a powerful newspaper figure in Min* neapolis and who has been sponsored for a long time by General Mills on his radio and TV shows. Our first contact was made last week when Mr. J. M. Crutcher, Sales Manager of General Mills in Salt lake City, came down to see us here in Vegas and get the whole story of this project. Me. Crutcher had been out to the Rose de lima Hospital and asked Sister Angelita for the recipe and a loaf of the bread so that it could be analysed *?? Sister Angelita referred him firmly to us, and after two visits to the hospital, he finally came to the Sands Hotel to talk with us. Mr. Crutcher pointed out that General Mills has been impressed with the sales job we are doing in Minneapolis, especially in the face of a price war which has sent market prices down to It cents a loaf. Angelita*s Bread, selling for 27 emits a loaf steadily, had just finished jumping up 5,000 loaves in total sales the previous week to our all* time high of 29,*94 loaves. I presented the whole story of Angelita*s Bread openly to Mr. Crutcher, and he seemed to warm up when we showed him some of our advertising plans, especially the WA Little Slice of Long Ago?ǥ picture campaign. It was at this point that he asked if I would take the material back to Minneapolis and meet with the officers of General Mills. SSIM
