Al Cahlan l?╜as Vegas REVIEW-JOURNAL 737 North Mala Las Vegas , Nevada Dear Al: I Just returned from Minneapolis, and submit the attaehed to you as our Progress Report, with the following explanation: 1. In the 3 plants of the Hoisum Bakeries, we have produced 138,996 loaves of bread, and actually have sold 111,573 loaves of bread since April 19, as the report shows. 2. However, the only periods for which we have received checks are the four periods marked in red, inasmuch as 1 felt the plants should start rolling strongly before we worry about money. The loaves for which we did not receive money have been used as promotional samples, stale loaves, etc. But now we will start receiving checks from each of the 3 cities where the Holsum plants are located. 3. We also have been working with Plllsbury to make a mix of the bread to go into as many of the cities as we have time to set up and make certain the bread is perfect without training bakeries in each city at the Holsum plants. We are now up to about 33,000 loaves of bread a week, and I hope to be in at least 10 cities by September - but the only thing I am worried about is the adver- tising and promotion setup. I don't think I can count on the advertising agency for Holsum Bakeries in Minneapolis, which is 01 instead & Foley, and I have been politely waiting to see what they would come up with before I stepped into it. X believe they have come up with nothing and I am trying to figure out in my own mind just how to set up a Standard Operating
