Biographical / Historical Note
The UNLV Center for Social Justice (CSJ) is a student-centered office that provides resources for students at UNLV to advocate against social injustices. CSJ was founded at UNLV in 2012 out of student demand for identity-specific support. CSJ is operated and managed by the Office of Student Diversity & Social Justice (SDSJ) which provides programs, initiatives and services for traditionally underserved students at UNLV. In addition to the CSJ, SDSJ oversees identity-specific programs for students including Asian and Pacific Islander; Middle Eastern; black/African American; Latinx; Native American; lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender; and international.
