I agree.J^ouls Prima with Qia Sam jBtdera and the QYibusses GIA MAIONE 279 E. Warm Springs Rd. Las Vegas Nevada The girl from Toms River, New Jersey - Gla Malone - who was a devout Louis Prima fan practically from infancy, stepped up to the podium one night at the Latin Casino, outside of Philadelphia a few years back to audition for one of the great bondieader - showman of all-time. And what happened? Just as electrifying as a Prima show is, that is how swiftly and dramatically she became the female vocalist in the Prima bandwagon plus becoming Mrs. Louis Prima. Today at the brink of reaching greatness in the world of show-business, this talented young and beautiful, sky blue-eyed singer not only gives out with ultra-soulful ballads and swinging up-tempoed songs, but she is the proud parent, along with spouse Louis, of two sparkling and obviously talented young Prima heirs, Lena Ann and Louis, Jr. But let's go back to that momentous occasion in New Jersey, where it really all started, and to the events that followed. It was to be almost like a Cinderella story, with the young princess being crowned a queen literally overnite. Having memorized each Prima album down to the very last note, vivacious and energetic Gia convinced her uncle James Maione, a good friend of Roily Dee, the bassist in the Prima organization, she was determined and confident she could pass the test for becoming the new Prima vocalist. Her blood relation quickly contacted Dee, swept her over to the Latin Casino - and without any forma) preparation was called up on stage to sing. This she did but she still did not know what the results were from her performance. Ill c_
