Ottowa Engagement Dear Mr. Freeman: Joe Ross has passed on to me the checks you sent for $13,500 and $12,456.75* for the Red Skelton engagement at the Central Canada Exhibition. The contract calls for compensation of $27,000, plus 70# of the gross receipts exceeding $36,000. Thus, the checks don?╟╓t seem to jibe with the contract, and I wonder if you know why.
