Sansbury 1?╟╓HP Inc, Telegraph Building Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Dear Mr. Sansbury: Thanks for the good chat on the telephone. Attached is a piece of Red?╟╓s stationery. You will recall you planned to duplicate it, leaving out all addresses, for a mail- ing piece covering your listeners who enter the contest but do not win. Also attached is Red Skelton?╟╓s signature. He suggests two things. That the note say something like, "My thanks to you. I wish I could have lunched with you and the other nice people who wrote in to WHP. Always, Red Skelton. ' And secondly, he hopes your staff could find the time to personally sign such notes, approximating his signature on a personal basis, rather than rubber stamping. As a matter of fact, he said if necessary he would prefer to personally try to sign all of the letters but I assured him this could just cause a big bottleneck and I was sure you could find a way to make the notes appear personal. We will count on seeing you and your good folks in Allentown around 12 o'clock on Friday, September 20 to pick up the film clips you have in mind, with Red to lunch immediately there- after with your contest designee.
