I agree.Skelton - 2 But when the Vincennes school board heard that Skelton was to recieve an honorary degree from Emerson College, they decided they?╟╓d better do something. Vincennes school board president Richard Bauer, and Superintendant of Schools Glenn Bretz got together. The result was an honorary high school diploma for one of Vincennes' first citizens, Red Skelton. And today, at Emerson College, Red Skelton became an honorary Doctor of Literature. Watching the impressive academic ceremonies at Boston's historic First Church were twelve people from Vincennes. Among them; Mayor Holly Kilfoil, School Superintendent Bretz, and the entire school board, all of whom flew east especially to see Red Skelton receive his honors. - rule
