I agree.United ^Hra30 Sn ter national general offices t NEWS BUILDING, 220 BAST 42ND STREET Written From LOS ANGELES, CALIF., BUREAU TIMES-MIRROR BUILDING P. O. BOX 2231, MAIN OFFICE LOS ANGELES S3 Phone 620*1230 NEW YORK 17, N. Y. July 16, 1964 Dear Al, I was terribly enthused by all the information you gave me on Red Skelton, by-t-f on the telephone and by mail. I think the paintings are just great! In fact, I wish had the time right now to do a more impressive story. Unfortunately, I'm holding down the Foreign Department this summer while Gris is in Europe, so it's rather hectic to say the least. I'm sending the enclosed story with photos to London, Sydney, Brussels, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Rio de Janeiro, Caracas, Baires Aires and Tokyo tonight. Next Tuesday, I will re-write the story slightly and we'll send it out as a UPI News Feature with photos. That should hit throughout the United States. I'm also doing a small article or. just Red's London TV Special for our Television Around The World Section and that will also go out next week. So if you've got any more details, please let me know. I'm also alerting the London office to see what TV Times might need in the way of coverage, although they may do it there. I'll write Bob Musel next week and tell him to get in touch with Jack Entratter when he arrives. I'll send you clips as I receive them, and also return a few of the photos after they've been used. Thank you, Al, for your help./A I hope x'll get a chance to talk to you.,Vegas. I want to come over for a few days ift August if I can get away. Maybe we can work ap another story. Sincerely, Sharon'Lawrence
