Red Skelton will appear at the Sands for six weeks opeing Wednesday, June 3 in one of the longest engagements set for any star by producer Jack Entratter, president of the Sands. Three years ago Skelton stayed over at the Sands for a total of eight weeks after an original four week engagement was set, and the reservations were still filled long before the end of the engagement. Skelton is the only star ever to play Las Vegas for such long periods of time.
