I agree.JESSE H. JONES PUBLISHER * JOHN T. JONES, JR. President THE CHRONICLE September 13, 1957 Mr. A1 Freeman, Publicity Director, The Sands Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Al: Received your letter today and our managing editor received a telephone call from Roderick in El Paso, so it looks like they will be okaying the deal too. The more I think about this thing, the better it sounds and looks. I think it will be terrific. Inclosed are a clipping or too. Many thanks for the wire on Jane Russell. By the way, Al, when you get a chance how about sending a few pictures of the Copa Girls and I can use them ^n connection with the promotion of the Texas girls - show 'em what the gals look like - when you are ready to break the story. Might get a picture of Jack Entratter with a couple of 'em and than another one or two of the gals by themselves. Let me hear from you and we can set the release date to coincide with announcements in other papers. If we know a few days ahead, I believe we can get page One announcement, maybe several other page one pictures of the gals as they enter their names, etc....... Lorerie sends her best regards. Say howdy for me to Jakie, Jack, Max Waterman, Charlie Constabile and the rest of the gang. Charlie Evans
