President THE HOUSTON CHRONICLE FIRST IN HOUSTON-FIRST IN TEXAS Dear Copa Girl Contestant: The finals of the Sands Copa Girl Contest finally have been set for 4 p0m0 Sunday, October 19, in the Nile Room at the Shamrock Hilton Hotel . Mr. Jack Entratter, president of the Sands, will be here at that time to select several Houston girls for the show at the Sands and will give the winners six-week contracts at $150 per week. Air transportation will be furnished winners by the Sands HoteL Winners in the contest will leave within 10 days of their selection to start a two-week rehearsal period before their show opening in Las Vegas. During the rehearsal period the salary is $75 per week, Enclosed is a card which you are requested to fill out and mail as soon as possible so that we may know how many of you will be able to be on hand for the selections by Mr o Entratter8 Thank you for your patience.
