I agree.McFadden, Strauss, Eddy & Irwin Public Relations All \ S V) NEW YORK LOS ANGELES PALM SPRINGS LONDON ROME PARIS October 6, 1965 wv % Mr. Al Freeman The Sands Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Al: \ v-'\. <?√ß This is just to confirm arrangements for the Allan Sherman literary- tea in the Emerald Room of The Sands Hotel on Monday, October 11th, 5:00 p. m. It is our understanding that The Sands is giving Mr. Sherman the room and tea for the guests gratis, which we appreciate. We will pay for the champagne and the hors droeuvres which has been worked out already with your catering department. I am making hotel reservations for Arthur Knight of the Saturday Review and myself. Allan has made arrangements for four Sands show girls to participate in the tea as part of a panel on the book and we have sent them copies of the book with a note. We have lined up the enclosed lists of guests for the tea. I think we should get some excellent mileage from the event, including the Los Angeles Times feature that Art Seidenbaum has agreed to do. If it is possible for you or a member of your staff to be at the tea we would deeply appreciate that since we will have a cross-section of Vegas press there whom you are undoubtedly more familiar with than we are. If it is not too much trouble I would like to have a reservation for a good table for Mr, and Mrs. Seidenbaum; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur-#-**<; Knight, Mrs. Harpo Marx and my wife and I at Allan1 s first show Jfc Monday night. I will check on this, of course, when I arrive. I will arrive around 2:00 p.m. Monday. 1017 No. La Cienega Boulevard ?╟≤ Los Angeles, California 90069 ?╟≤ (213) OL 7-4330 ?╟≤ Cable Address: MCSEDIR
