EDITORIAL OFFICES October 6, 195 U Dear Al, Many thanks for letting us see these pictures* I would certainly agree that the drum production number is colorful and that Arrastrong-Merrill must have an amusing and interesting combination. But, il, I don't really see that either of them make a LIFE story* Armstrong and Merrill you already know my feelings about; the chorus number - well - it just doesn't surprise me that the Sands has a colorful production number* Frankly it doesn't strike me as having quite enough meat for a story in itself* Maybe, now, if several of the other clubs had equally exotic numbers, we could suggest something to New York on colorful production numbers - Las Vegas has the most* Maybe they wouldn't go for that either, but if you fall into a time when most everything in town looks good, give us a flash and we might try it on for size* Best regards, Loudon Wainwright
