I agree.m -2 - Seems that an excellent story might be the suggestion of a stop at Las Vegas while they are only a hop-skip-and-a-jump away. If used, in the Sun-Tele, it will not only be a message to the f olks on the tour but also wonderful Las Vegas promotion to all our readers. The Sands could easily be featured in the story. If you see value in this, please advise and follow up with whatever descriptive copy you may furnish. I wonder if a short open letter of invitation to the Rose Bowl Tourists from possibly the Mayor or Chamber of Commerce might be a good opener for the story. As for art, the usual stand-by?╟╓s would not hold the eye-appeal that a fresh shot would. Just in case this idea does pan out, we are en- closing a tear sheet of one of our stories. A natural for a shot would be some Las Vegas celebrity or official looking over the story. If we use this idea, we should run the copy in the next few weeks. I?╟╓d appreciate knowing your reaction at your earliest convenience. Sincerely, LloycKAnderson Proihotion Manager dd enclosure
