I agree.FREEMAN COMPANY pub/ic/sts 7/15/58 Dear Mr. Parvin, X well understand your puzzlement on the attached brochure, as well as your statement about past grievances with the Chamber, because we have been trying for five years to straighten out the situation. In checking on the use of this picture I found that the idea was to show the proximity of the Convention Center to a pool and what it exemplifies ?╟≤ i.e., the nearness of a luxury hotel, the nearness of recreation, entertainment, etc. Jack Pepper of the 1ms Vegas News Bureau pointed out that he was careful not to show any hotel identification in the picture in order to avoid criticism, but he felt that such a picture might help the exploitation of the Convention Center. I believe the idea is a good one, but I can also well understand the feeling on the part of your hotel, because we also have felt it many times in the past and that is why we have been fighting so hard to clear up some of the lopsided policies of the Chamber. I believe we are succeeding a little, especially with the birth of the Action Panel which will handle such exploitation from now on for the County Fair and Recreation Board, and you can be certain that since the Action Panel was my idea, I will make sure that no favoritism is shown to any hotel, no matter who it is. 9508 WILSHIRE BLVD. ?╟≤ BEVERLY HILLS, CAL. ?╟≤ BRADSHAW 2-8611
