I agree./1 ?╟÷DESERT INN J^O^AUt KEgent 5-1122 November 5, 1962 Office of EU0EN1 MURPHY Advertising and Publicity Director : !nn & Stai Hotels ?╟÷ Las Vegas . Jim Deitch Las Vegas News Bureau Convention Center Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Jim: At the time of the ASIA Convention, Charles Collins of the Milwaukee Sentinel explained to me about that publication's annual Sports and Vacation Show. I suggested an award of a holiday at this Inn and also one at the Stardust as prizes if he wished to use them. Further, I phoned Abe Schiller and suggested that he take to Milwaukee some Colorado River trout and Lake Mead bass which could be dumped into the brook and stream which will run the length of the exposition hall in Milwaukee. I now have this letter and additional material (see attached), which I would like you to read and present to the assembled publicists when they meet this week. I cannot do this, I will be in New York City* If it is determined to have a concerted action, I am reasonably sure that the publicists will decide who can follow through on this. In the event that the hotels collectively do not wish to do anything, will you please inform them I do propose to have the Desert Inn and Stardust exhibition booth sent to Milwaukee.
