31 been in Laa Vegas over twenty-four hours depleted as a person the police are chasing let us say or trying to apprehend or investigate. Then we say to you, 'fYou can't make that kind of a I ~*n* And we' have to be realistic about it fellows* Now lets get *******?? Go ??head* Gene Murphy* It was our understanding When we originally entered into this mpm agreement in July that the stories 'that would be on television would be based on records from the sheriff and police department file. .And I am assuming that you intend "not to stray from that agreement*..not to fictionalise. Therefore, I assume we will have control over the story line because we would now like to assume the w$?½m prerogative of,selecting from the sheriff's and the police department files those stories which you will put on television* With each one of those police and sheriff records will be sent a list of the things attached to that particular file that we would like to indicate| should or should not be ?√ß included in the manufacture of that particular scenes. Therefore, if you are going to refrain from making films other than in the sheriff and poliee department files though we do understand that that is the limit of your area Insofar as?√ßLas Vegas is concerned, we should have no difficulty whatsoever have because will in essence be ragbag censoring the thing before you will/even started to work on it. I think that this simplifies the entire thing* Now, we would then like to 1 '-he prerogative of seeing the fough cut but what I do think ha* not been StatAd here and vftiat may happen and this is human at work m^3fam?╜3SH, is in the event that Goodson-Todman go ahead with a series, which may be a little bit more violent or a little bit more exciting or a little- bit different perhaps it may occur to your organisation in 'the course of producing a series that you will have to accelerata the blood, the murder, the Violence or the surprises in order to win back viewers if you were losing
