That's the big prize to be offered to the winner of the National Press Photographer Association's "Miss NPPA of ?╟╓56" beauty pageant Wednesday, April 4. The queen of America's press cameramen will be chosen during the NPPA's 11th annual convention at the fabulous San Marcos Hotel, Chandler, Arizona (near Phoenix) April 1 through 5- The meeting is expected to attract 500 officers, delegates, and members to the 250- acre winter resort in Arizona's Valley of the Sun. Included in "Miss NPPA's" itinerary will be visits to a Hollywood motion picture studio (and who knows, she might even capture a film contract.') the glittering gambling casinos and shows on the Las Vegas Strip; Disneyland, and dinners at Hollywood's Moulin Rouge and Mocambo theater-restaurants. While in Los Angeles, the queen and her chaperone will spend .five glorious days as the guest of Conrad Hilton at his newest hotel-- the plush Beverly Hil for three days at the Txowland^romises a modeling assignment at his usual fee while she is in Los Angeles. Other gifts include the whopping NPPA four-foot trophy, a beauti- ful cultured pearl necklace designed by Dr. James J. Boutross, AND a complete Stereo Graphic camera and viewer outfit.
