I agree.KRML 1410 RADIO POST OFFICE DRAWER 6478 CARMEL, CALIFORNIA 93921 TELEPHONE: (4 08) 6246431 February 19,1969 Mr. Al Freeman SANDS HOTEL Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Al: To express myself in words (and I speak for my wife, Dee) at this time is quite difficult because it is almost impossible to say what is in my heart . . . how through all the years and we go back to the latter part of 1952, Al Freeman was always there to take care of us. Even when the showroom was crowded with Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin, Al Freeman was there to take care of Sam. When others were forgotten or were not on the list, so to speak, Sam was there. When Dee needed monies for her schooling at the University, Al was there to help. And I know, Al, these gestures were from the heart and not put on to exploit one position. Now, 500 miles away, when all others have given their sad tale of woe, Al comes through again. Whatever Dee and I can do to repay would never truthfully express our gratitude and sincere love for you and what you have meant to us. This part of Vq^ I really miss. God bless you for being a real human. Dee sends her love. fl/kv\ "Wonderful Sound of Music"
