I agree.1504 PARK STREET ALAMEDA, CALIFORNIA LAKEHURST 3-B21S December 11, 1961 Mr. A1 Freeman Publicity Director ?·>ands Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Mr. Freeman: I would like to express my sincere thanks to you for making the excellent room accommodations for my client, Lucien A. Sabella, and his party. However, a very embarrassing situation presented itself and I think you should bring it to the attention of the parties involved. According to Mr. Sabella, at approximately 4 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4, he and his friends were relaxing in your casino (having already been at the various gaming tables) while watching the progress of a dice game. For no apparent reason, the shift boss informed them that if they did not plan to participate in the game, they would have to leave. This, of course, was very embarrassing to Mr. Sabella, who, as host to his party, had selected the Sands Hotel in preference to all others. The proprietor of A. Sabella?╟╓s, one of the largest and finest restaurants on San Francisco?╟╓s Fisherman?╟╓s Wharf, and breeder and owner of the Capri Racing Stable, Mr. Sabella is not a spectator at a gaming table when visiting Las Vegas. He is usually participating in the ?╟╓?╟╓action.?╟Ñ I am sending this letter in the hope it will help prevent this unhappy situation from happening to another of your early morning patrons. Once again, many thanks for your courtesy in making reservations for my client and his party. Lloyd Johnson Advertising Agency
