I agree. The bathrooms in the new building feature sunken tubs by the Borg Warner Company, and separate showers with shower doors by the American Showerdoor Company introducing the latest designs of acrylite panels. Another outstanding feature of the bathrooms is the lavish use of a new tile. The tile, in gleaming silver, gold, green, and white, comes from Gladding, McBean & Co., and its use in Aqueduct is its first such hotel use in America. A special feature of the suite bathrooms is the use of this tile in the complete hand construction of the sunken Roman tubs. The plumbing fixtures are by American Standard, with a special innovation of a "bidet" installed in the suite bathrooms, following in the European custom. Entratter gathered elegant adornments from several parts of the world, including marble table tops from Italy, Spanish chandeliers, and actual Moorish decor pieces for the intriguing suites. The new building calls for unusual service, and will feature 24-hour maid service, with one maid taking care of only four rooms, and available to pack and unpack incoming and outgoing guests. Special closets have been built into the graceful curving hallways to allow for disposition of room service trays to eliminate the unsightly used food trays commonly seen in front of hotel room doors.
