I agree.The new building stars 10 suites, averaging 1600 square feet in space, as compared to the average American hotel suite of 750 square feet. Each of these suites has been furnished at a cost of between $18,000 and $22,000, embellished with the latest dectorial highlight of carved mouldings, turned wood columns, and Spanish colors. Especially outstanding are several suites in the Moorish thane, each featuring a private swimming pool, and offered to the public for $115 a day for the bedroom suite and pool. Another innovation by Entratter to the Las Vegas hotel scene, that of the MPetite Suite" featuring king size bed accomodations and queen size living room separated by an elevation and plush drapes, has been elaborated on in the new building, with a total of 12 "Petite Suites.11 Outstanding among these is a special "Petite Suite" composed of two queen size beds in one bedroom, adjoining a spacious king size parlor. Another first by Entratter is the installation of air conditioned Acoustical-Ventilated ceilings. Entratter saw these special ceiling used in a home show in Chicago two years ago, and installed them first in the Sands Executive offices for a test. The ceilings are of Minerolite, with slits spaced in its composition which allows air conditioning to be distributed evenly through a room, alleviating noise and draft. The ceilings are by the Wood Conversion Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
