Thanks?╟≤ ron erickson A jazz concert featuring big-band sounds will be held in the new Sands Hotel Convention Hall beginning at 2 a.m., Saturday (Nov. 27). A number of top jazz artists are expected to appear. Conducted by Raoul Romero, the 22-piece orchestra, will play a number of new compositions and will feature a number of special songs during the two hour show. The benefit program is being held to raise money for the Clark County Association for Retarded Children which supports the new Retarded Children Opportunity Center in Las Vegas. ?╜ In the past, the orchestra has had Sammy Davis Jr., and i! Frank Sinatra Jr. as guest artists. A top entertainer will j appear again this year as master-of-ceremonies. The time again, 2 a.m., Saturday morning (that's like Friday night). Tickets are $2.50.
