Thanks?╟≤ ron erlckson A jazz concert featuring big-bands sounds by some of Las Vegas finest musicians will be held beginning at 2 a.m., Saturday (Nov. 27) in the new Sands Hotel Convention Hall. The 22-piece orchestra, conducted by Raoul Romero, will play a number of new arrangements as well as some of the familiar sounds made famous by Stan Kenton and Henry Mancini. Proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Clark County Association for Retarded Children with the money going to continuing development of the Retarded Childrens Opportunity Center. A top guest artist will appear just as Sammy Davis Jr., and other top artists have helped the organization in past years. Thatfs the Sands Hotel, 2 a.m., Satuday for the big jazz sounds.
