I believe there has been a misunderstanding and I hope to be able to straighten it out through this letter, as we are about to go to press. The Executive Committee decided that rather than having the standard "display" form of advertising in the program - it would be a far greater contribution to golf if we were to maintain a "sponsored" type of page with the sponsors name, location (city and state) and a slogan at the bottom of each page. To this end, please find enclosed a fact sheet in which specimen pages are shown and a rough tissue indicating how we like to illustrate the name of the Sands with the slogan "FORE most in America- The "EXCITING" Hotel in Las Vegas".
