Entratter explained that he had hired Bookie to be a greeter at the Sands during a special show he was presenting called "Summit Show** starring the Big Four ?╟÷ Sinatra ?╟≤?? Dean Martin ?╟÷ Peter Lawford ?╟÷ Saany Davis, with Joey Bishop. "But after we had talked it over and he said OK to coning down and working for a while at the hotel, greeting the stars and people, Bookie called and said he would rather park cars ?╟≤?╟≤ as he does in his TV show, 77 Sunset Strip, " Entratter told NEWSWEEK today. "I pointed out to Ed that being a greeter would help hin more in his career ?╟÷ that he would neet the top stars, producers, and agents in show business while he was hore during this show.
