The following points were agreed upont 1. Hotel publicists will submit names of news media whom they would like to invite on the trip. Names to be sent to Jack Pepper. 2. The group should spend more time in Las Vegas, including a full day when they would have an opportunity to be shown the Convention Center and, if they choose. Lake Mead and Hoover Dam. 3. The group would be brought here via jet airliner. 4. Less intoxicants served on the plane so when they arrive in Las Vegas they will be in a better condition to enjoy their stay. 5. In order for the gropp to spend more time it was suggested that between the three cities visited ?√ß??- Las Vegas, Phoenix -- Tucson ?╟÷ that each year one city would be left out. This was provided on condition that this year Las Vegas would NOT be the alternate city since we want to expose the group to the new Convention Center. Boughton said he was going to visit Phoenix and Tucson, get their ideas, and make an over-all report back to the troup. LAKE MEAD CUP RACE Jack Pepper outlined the progress of the Lake Mead Cup Race. it was agreed by the hotel publicists present that they would furnish two to three comp rooms only to the press for two nights. They agreed it would be up to the individual publicists whetherthey wanted to invite them to their shows.
