A colorfuI produc t i o n number, ?╟úTelevision Revue of 1960?╟Ñ featured the voice of Art Johnson and the Arden Dancers brought Sullivan onto the stage. The various acts Sullivan has gath- ered for the show are good. The clever puppet turn, ?╟úPinky and Perky,?╟Ñ thril- led the packed house and dance team of Helene & Howard started out with a regular routine, but ended up in a terrific comic dance that brought sal- vos of' applause from the jammed room. Della Reese chirped two songs, one of which was ?╟úStormy Weather.?╟Ñ She was well received, and another song would have been in order. A quick bit of chatter between Sullivan and Arnold Stang was okay, bpt could have been eliminated and never missed. One of the top scores of the show was scored by the Dukes of Dixieland With such bits as ?╟úSlide, Frog, Slide,?╟Ñ ?╟úMack the Knife?╟Ñ and ?╟ú76 Trom- bpnes.?╟Ñ These lads have it! Shades of the late Will Rogers are seen in Bob Lewis in both looks and dry, humorous wit that he expounded while toying with a short piece of rope. His wife assisted him, mostly by making noise, but the act was well?, received. Two types of dance were presented by Sullivan, first La Chunga and her company of Gypsy dancers and then some of the fastest jazz dancers ever seen along the Strip, the Modern Jazz Dancers from Italy. They earned tre- mendous applause. Those stars of yesteryear, Benny Field and Blossom Seeley, demonstrat- swinging musical number with, a western motif, and the gay ?╟úCarnival of Venice?╟Ñ num- ber, which makes use of the water to depict ?╟úGaiety" on the Grand Canal,?╟Ñ are inter- spersed with unusual and amusing acts..
