I agree.10/5/72 ELABORATE PREPARATIONS FOR ALL-NEW LIDO LAS VEGAS?╟÷All systems are "GO" and hundreds of the finest craftsmen in the world are toiling long and hard as they prepare for the 10th and most lavish edition ever of the spectacular Lido de Paris, set for a Dec. 28 premiere at the Stardust Hotel. The famed Lido, which has played to nearly 10 million awe-struck visitors since first appearing at the Stardust in 1958, is undergoing a total revision. Only the name "Lido" will remain the same. The current 9th edition has been the most successful of the long line of presentations, playing to turnaway crowds twice nightly since April, 1970. But Stardust management says it's time for a change, and change it will. "One of the secrets of the Lidofs huge success," explains Allan D. Sachs, president of the famed resort, "is that it is always fresh, bright and new. We know the present edition could continue to do record-breaking business for years to come; but the public is entitled to a brand new edition, and that is what we will provide them on Dec. 28." -44-
