*Sfc*?? r" r ^ -*?╟≤% 1 O howmanship and skating come naturally to Margie Lee. This scintilating lass is the sister of the famous Carol Lynne, who starred with the Hollywood Ice Revue and Arthur Wirtz' Rockefeller Center Theatre for nearly 15 years before retiring to raise a family. Margie has taken up where her sister left off and has wowed audiences in New York, Havana, Paris, Cleveland, Detroit, Haiti, Los Angeles, New Orleans, and Chicago. She began skating at 12, starting as a dancer first, in Westwood, California. Margie, at 25, is a tried-and-true veteran of show business. She says that Carol had little in- f fluence over her skating career. In fact, "We fought like all sisters do." Born Margie Lee Genho, she is of Greek-Irish decent which accounts for her vitality and continental beauty. She likes sculpturing when she gets the time. Also, she indulges in playing records?╟÷mostly modern jazz. mm CROGAN I he handsome leading man of the Hollywood Ice Revue was literally adopted by the ice when he was 12. ?√ß Jimmy said that his foster mother, an ice enthusiast, bought him a pair of skates but the only kind she could fit him with was white. She said if he could win his first competition, she would get him some black ones. A month later he got his black boots. In 1948, only 15, he skated in the Olympics. Grogan finished second in international competition 15 times before turning pro last year with the Arthur M. Wirtz extravaganza. While in the Army, Grogan worked for the Special Service office of the Eighth Army. Part of his duty was to star in the Ice Show in Garmisch. It was while skating for the army that Wirtz made a personal trip to Garmisch to sign Grogan. Grogan is still single even in the midst of icedom's most beautiful girls.
