I agree.II. VEGAS PRESENTATION Existing "Las Vegas" sign is added to "Finale of Opening" set as male and female dancers regroup to present first act - over. Talk #4 (V.O. "And now direct from las Vegas the Magic Star of our show, Rick Thomas". ACT m. LATINO A. "Black Light" number: Two more shadow boxes on top and two more on bottom are added to existing set to make ten boxes in all. Black light latino cartoon figures play conga drums and tambourines - "magically" turning into comical cartoon latin females - lots of props and illusion. Talk #5 (About going to different latin countries to sample their rhythms and dance). B. Argentina: With a full-stage tilted mirror behind and crystal chandelier or chandeliers overhead, the adagio team and six couples perform a stylish tango - (maybe have "wind" blow chiffon curtains at beginning of tango before dancers enter?) <?·> c e^r-v^^^** s pz C. Cuba: A decorated comical latino car serpentines on stage to latin percussion. Two dancers in sunglasses and black and white stripe suits dance with male singer who sings "Cuban Pete" they are joined by six chicanas - car exits (motorcycles?) D. Brazil: In front of very dynamic colorful carnival set 12 girls and 6 males samba tp "I go to Rio". E. Carmen Miranda: Dressed as Carmen Miranda in outrageous hat, the female singer crosses from stage right to stage left while singing about going to the city where they dance the hottest salsa - New York - Her ruffled train extends the full length of stage. Dancers (males only?) Straddle train and hop across stage -she exits and as curtain opens and males dance into S Ar*~- to /t*^* femaleffor salsa. 7 ^ IV. NEW YORK r Salsa Bar: Curtain opens to reveal the interior of bar redecorated as flashy NY latin bar.
