JRJ Productions, Inc. 835 North Orlando Avenue Los Angeles. California 90069 Telephone 213/653-5577 REVISED EDITION OF CASINO SHOW PROPOSED PRODUCTION CAST 4 female dancers (3 Bahamian and 1 expatriate) at $405.00 each $ 1,620.00 1 female dancer topless (Bahamian) 450.00 2 male dancers (1 Bahamian and 1 expatriate) at $450.00 each 900.00 * Adagio team (as well as performing their lead spots they will also work in the chorus) at $772.00 1,544.00 1 male singer 927.00 1 stage hand to work as performer (Basil) at $15.00 90.00 $ 5,531.00 The show as you know, was originally conceived for a chorus of 10 female and 4 male dancers. Cutting the chorus to 1 male and 4 female dancers (the Bahamian contingency) as suggested is indeed cost effective on paper but in reality is rather impractical, because of the Bahamian dancers attendance record. Even the above "proposed cast" is minimal and, of course, will not have the same impact as the original cast for which the show was created, but I think it will work. * Despite the fact that several of their shorter routines are eliminated, the Adagio team will be working harder in this new revision due to the fact that they will also be working in the chorus and making extremely fast costume changes. They will not have a chance to catch their breath between their difficult numbers which may look effortless but takes tremendous energy. Therefore, in my opinion, it is not fair to ask them to take a cut especially since the general rate for a good team today is $1,800.00 to $2,000.00 per week.
