ANNOUNCEMENTS: CSUN SENATE PRESIDENT PRO-TEMPORE KARI COZINE MENTIONED THAT SHE WAS FILLING IN FOR GINA. SHE ALSO MENTIONED TO REVIEW THE PARKING AND TRAFFIC DRAFT FOUND IN THE SENATOR'S BOXES AND IF THEY HAVE COMMENTS TO TALK TO GINA OR DR. LOWRY. CSUN PRESIDENT JOE BUNIN MENTIONED THAT THE PARKING AND TRAFFIC WAS BEING DONE AS AN EXPERMENT. HE MENTIONED THAT WE'RE GETTING AN ADDITIONAL 107 TICKETS DOWNSTAIRS FOR NEXT YEAR FOR BASKETBALL. HE ALSO MENTIONED THAT SILVER BOWL TICKETS ARE BEING NEGOTIATED. CHIEF JUSTICE DAN WALL MENTIONED THAT THE GONZALES CASE WAS DISMISSED AND THE KENNEDY VS. CSUN CASE WAS TABLED. HE ALSO REMINDED THE SENATORS OF THE OPENING ON THE JUDICAL COUNCIL. V. BOARD, COMMITTEE, AND DIRECTOR REPORTS: MRS. SPOTZ, PRESCHOOL DIRECTOR, GAVE A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE PRESCHOOL SERVICES AND ENROLLMENT. ROB ROSENTHAL, KUNV GENERAL MANAGER, STATED THAT KUNV BROUGHT IN $2,658.00 AND $1,839 OF THAT CAME FROM THE STATE OF NJ. THEY GOT AN APPROVAL FOR FIRST KUNV GRANT. HE MENTIONED THAT ON SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 1990 THERE WILL BE A SPONSERING OF JESUS AND MARY CHIANE. HE MENTIONED THAT KUNV WAS NOMINATED FOR THREE AWAR ONE OF THE TOP TEN COLLEGE STATIONS IN ROCK PROGRAMMING, ONE OF THE TOP TEN PROGRAMMING DIRECTORS, AND ONE OF THE TOP TEN MUSIC MINUTES - SENATE MEETING 2 0-08 THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 199 0 PAGE SEVEN DIRECTORS. HE ALSO STATED THAT HE HAD THE YELL REPORT AND THAT THEY NEED GREEKS TO TURN IN LISTS WITH NEW OFFICERS AND ANY SPECIAL ACHIEVMENTS ON THE PART OF GREEK MEMBERS. MIKE KENNEDY, DIRECTOR OF NSA, STATED THAT HE WAS CONTACTED BY LISE WYMAN, FORMER CSUN VICE-PRESIDENT AND CURRENTLY VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE YOUNG DEMOCRATS OF AMERICA, AND SHE ASKED IF CSUN COULD SPONSOR OF A REGIONAL CONFERENCE IN MARCH, WITHOUT ANY OBJECTIONS. JAMAL ALLEN, DIRECTOR OF OSI, STATED THAT HE RECORDED TWO RADIO SHOWS; ONE WITH PRESIDENT BUNIN AND THE OTHER WITH TWO CSUN SENATORS AND THEY WILL BE AIRED ON FEBRUARY 6, 1990 AT 10:00 A.M. SENATOR SPILLER STATED THAT IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO GET INSURANCE FOR THE CART. WONDERING WHEN BSA SPEAKERS ARE GOING TO BE HERE. SENATOR DUPALO STATED HE WILL HOLD COMMENTS. SENATOR ROSENBERG STATED SHE WILL HOLD COMMENTS. SENATOR GONZALES COMMENT WAS MADE, BUT NOT HEARD DO TO NOISE ON THE TAPE. SHE ALSO STATED HER CONCERN ABOUT HANDICAPED PEOPLE GETTING AROUND IN BUILDINGS ON CAMPUS. SENATOR PRO-TEMPORE FOUNTAIN STATED EXECUSE MY TARDINESS, I HAVE TO COME FROM ACROSS TOWN.
