Description

Handwritten text on back of photo: "First Post Office of Las Vegas Nevada, erected by Walter R. Bracken who served as postmaster from 1904 to 1914". Text on photo sleeve: "Las Vegas, Nevada Post Office 1905 Walter Bracken was Post master. Water Bracken's pony 'Ben' is standing at doorway. This Post Office was located in Block 3 on South Main Street about where 'Dusty Rhodes' garage is now."
