I agree.The regular meeting of the Goldfield Woman's Club was held Jan. 25 1923The meeting was called to order by first vice-president Mrs. Gill. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The treasurer had no new report. The secretary of the Board of Directors reported sales amounting to $12.00 at the last rummage sale.The roll was called with eleven members responding. Mrs. Magdalene Jeffrey's name was posted for membership. A letter was read for Mrs. Shotwell in regard to the Sheppard-Towner Maternity Bill.It was moved and seconded that the secretary send a letter of endorsement of this bill to Gov. Scrugham.A letter was read from our president Mrs. Sprague who is in Carson City.No other business being before the club the meeting was turned over to Mrs. Arthur Barnes who gave a most interesting and instructive talk on American history. After which one verse of America was sung the club adjourned to meet Feb. 9 1923.Christine Hillebert Sec. Approved -
