I agree.The regular meeting of the Goldfield Woman's Club was held in the Club House Dec. 28 1922.The meeting was called to order by the president Mrs. Sprague the minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The Roll was called with five members responding. The Secretary of the Board of Directors read her report an amendment was made.The next meeting to be held 1st Thursday in January the program to be Reminiscences of the Club. A letter was read from the Field Director of the Red Cross in regard to the Cookies sent to the Soldier Boys in LettermanHospital. It was decided by the members that the Club go on record against the reinstatement of Roscoe Arbuckle in the movies and that a resolution to that effect be written and sent to Carson. Mrs. V.L. Ricketts chairman with Mrs. Howland, Foster, and Hillebert to assist her. No other business being before the club the meeting was turned to Mrs. Foster who gave a most delightful program. The following contributed Music, Organ Voluntary Mrs. FosterTwo song numbers Mrs. DaughertyPaper for Pianoforte Mrs. FosterTwo songs Mrs. SpragueMusic. Grand Opera selections from the German, French, and Italian by Mrs. Foster which completed the entertainment.After one verse of America the making adjourned to meet Jan 4, 1923.Christine Hillebert Sec.Approved
