    A meeting of the officers and directors of the Goldfield Woman's Club was held at the home of the President Mrs. Chas Sprague on Jan. 31st for the purpose of organizing committees and making arrangements for the Whist and Post Office Party to be given at the club house on Feb. 14, 1922.It was decided that the admission to the party would be (50) fifty cents.Mrs. Ricketts to be chairman of the decoration committee and donate hearts to be used also the score cards.The refreshments committee to be Mrs. Foster, chairman Mrs. Barnes and Mrs. McNair to aid her; the refreshments to be cake and sandwiches and coffee.Mrs. Gill and Mrs. Shafer offered to fill two lovely boxeswith delicious home-made candy for the two first prizes. Mrs. Sprague to give one second prize for gentleman and Mrs. Barnes one second prize for ladies.Mrs. Ricketts and Mrs. McNair to get punches and also to punch scores.Mrs. McNair and Mrs. Wills to be at the door to take money and tickets.Mrs. Gill to look after the Valentines and the committee to meet at her home Mrs. Victor Ricketts home Monday evening Feb. 6th, at 7.30.Mrs. Barlow to have charge of the Post Office department.the playing to begin at 8. o'clock sharp.Mrs. Ricketts to see Mr. Bush in regard to fixing the tables.
