The strike at Searchlight has knocked out the only market we had for our perishable stuff. So now will have to dry what we can. Mrs. Helen J. Stewart is shipping in 8000# barb wire. in fact it is at Ivanpah now. You see that will make 6 1/4 miles of four strander finer. I don't know what she intends doing with it unless fence up the small tracks of land she owns around these 9 springs here. If that is the case our cattle will be entirely shut out and can only water at this big spring. And there is not enough
