I agree.W. McD. #2. a few head over the 500, it might be well, if possible, to buy them, if we can get them at a reasonable price. I think you understand prettywell just what we would like in this matter, and will leave it to your best judgment to work it out the best you can, and not allow them to impose on you. I think it is important after the inventory is made up, to leave some one on the ranch until so get full title to it to see that nothing is taken away. Perhaps this man Smith might do for the present. However, will leave that to your judgment. I also think it is quite important to get title as soon as we can and get these people away.
