2 was sufficient. I would object to having the plat situated where it was staked. I finally got them to agree to move it 100 ft. west and 120 ft. north, thereby giving more room between the plat and creek and making a more desirable location, etc. I did a good deal of surveying and the more I did the more convinced I became that a careful survey should be made. I found no two section corners to agree- I arrived here last night with Mr. Clippinger to get signatures to the petition and while here have talked with Mr. McWilliams, the surveyor, and who is quite familiar with all this section of country. He tells me he found one of the section corners that I made some measurements from to be 265 ft. too far east and 150 ft. too far north- and he advises me to have the whole property surveyed and those section corners officially reestablished and I agree with him. There is one place where the property line is now quite close to the creek and possibly after surveying correctly from corrected corners, the creek may be off the ground at this point. However, to get a correct description of the reserved graveyard plat, a survey must be made, and while doing so why not survey the whole ranch? I advised McWilliams to at once prepare to do the work by sending to the land office for the necessary notes, which will be an expense of $2.00.
