3. moves along with good system.My only disappointment was the great number of empty rooms in the Rooming House. The number, 26, seems too large, and as Mr. Bracken says, some steps should be taken to fill them up, either by reducing rent or admitting other men than shop employees alond. Mr. Bracken partially explained the situation to me the service is excellent, but the trouble due to the price of rooms and the unstableness of the shop employees who are generally a shifting mass of men staying but a few days in any particular place. His opinion is that the trainmen should also be given the privileges of this house.Mr. Bracken's records at Las Vegas in a large part correspond exactly to ours here in the general office, excepting our Journal and General Ledges. His record of services, as water Houses, lights and material sales are a duplicate of ours. His service charges are all made in triplicate, original for the consumer, the frist duplicate for our office, the second for his office copy. He sends ua a
