Prigg will write when the notion takes him and I don't worry about that. I have not heard from Benjamin Franklin Smith at Washington, D. C. for a long time. would like to see the fruit trees now at home. Mother says that the trees are so full of bloom. I hope they will all make a heavy yield. I sent a note to the Union Mutual Life Insurance Co., that is to be paid at the Delaware County Bank. I stated that Bank in the note because I did not know where I might be at that time and knew I could send you the money wherever I was and you could pay it. I do not know just how much it is. Between $45 and $50.00. I will send you plenty to pay it after my next pay. I want mother to get me some more light underwear like that last brown she sent me last summer. I want two suits. Tell her to pay one dollar a suit for it. Size 38 shirt or 36, and 32 drawers. Well this letter will have to do the bunch as I won't have time to answer Mother's letter. I have quite a bunch of people at Parker that I have to keep informed on Goldfield and also have a lot of correspondents at other places. Mother told me in one letter about Cash Richman asking for my address. Tell him I would be glad to hear from him and also tell all the other boys the same. Mother does the writing for the whole family, even At and May, so I try and make one letter do the whole bunch there. I am glad to get letters from any of you. I suppose though you all count on Mother doing the writing for all of you. Hope this finds you all well and kicking. We are all feeling the very best here. I am getting now so that I punch the bag after I come home from work so you may know that I don't feel like I did when I first commenced. They keep me pretty busy in the forenoon for we have to pull both water and muck but we get the water all out in the forenoon on our shift and I have plenty of time to pan gold between dumping the buckets of muck in the afternoon. Now Dady don't you think I had better pull down this $4.00 a day for a while until I get a little ahead? It is better than anything I could get back there. I would like to see the whole bunch of you more than you can imagine but think I had better stay here for a couple or three or four months yet. Write whenever you can for I know mother must need a rest when it comes to writing. Earle P.S. That note is not due until the first of July. I think. They will notify me in time to let you know.
