I am sending you a bunoh of papers in the morning. Now Mother if your eyes bother you any at all you must not read for I want you and Dady to keep your eyes as good as possible. My watch is doing fine. I broke the crystal while I was on that Northern trip and have not got it fixed yet. You know it is a hunting case so the crystal dont cut much ice with it. Am glad to know that the girls are getting along so well.Terassy is worth her weight in gold when it comes to the work and I think Polly will get over being so lazy when It comes to gettins up of a morning. Tell her I don't ever want to come home and find her sleeping in bed when she ought to be up helping with the work. I certainly would like to see Billy in his overalls. If I was there I expect I would be taking his picture every ten minutes. Say I forgot to tell you I bought in Mohawk Ledge again. I sold at 20 cents and bought in at 22 cents. How is that for miaking money? I sold at 20 cents because I thousht it would be cheaper and I could but in again at about 15 cents but instead of going down it went up. Tell Dady to tell Hoppes I got the Tiger Claw and and also just for a joke, Tell him that I saw inthe Star where he was pulled for violating the law, and that I had always thought him a law- abiding citizen. I was glad to get that Tiger Claw. I meet several D.O.K.K's here. Say what happend to the chickens. Did someone steal them. Too bad if they did. Our luck will come good some day though Mammy Dear so don't worry about a few chicks. I got the puzzles O.K. in the letter this morning but have not had time to work them. The papers have not reached me yet but am sure they will be here in the morning. I am going to try those puzzles tonight before I so to bed. Will give one to John. Well I am awfully sleepy tonight and also tired so I will quit. Hope this finds your hands better and that all of you are well. Good Bye for this time. Earle
