Notice Promise Mine
Notice is hereby given that [not legible] [not legible] of El Dorado Mining district Lincoln County State of Nevada [not legible] of the United States over the age of twenty one years having discovered a vein or lode of [not legible] or rock in place bearing silver & [not legible] the [not legible] of the claim hereby located have this day [not legible] in accordance with the revised Statutes of the United States Chapter Six Title Thirty-Two, located fifteen hundred linear feet of this vein or lode. With surface ground of six hundred feet in width situated in El Dorado mining District Lincoln County State of Nevada and known as the Promise Silver & [not legible] [not legible] mining claim and extending 500 ft Easterly and 1000 feet westerly to a monument from this notice at the discovery stake or prospect shaft. This is a [not legible] of the [not legible] mine No 2 located in January [not legible]. Which approves on page [not legible] of El Dorado Mining District Records and District [not legible] and work said claim as provided by the local customs and rules of [not legible] and the mining Statutes of the United States
