    [not legible] the undersigned do hereby locate and claim fifteen hundred feet for mining privileges on this Lead Ledge or Lode or deposit of silver bearing rock and ore to be known and described as the

    Commencing at the monument [not legible] [not legible] this notice is placed and running [not legible] (500) hundred feet in a southerly direction and one (1000) thousand feet in a Westerly direction on and along said Lead Lode or Ledge or deposit of silver bearing rock and ore and including three hundred feet on each side thereof for mining [not legible]
