Columbia Mining Company “Notice of Location” Notice is hereby given that we the undersigned have this day located fifteen hundred linear (1500) feet on this Lead Lode on Ledge of [not legible] containing precious metals with all dips spurs angles and variations also three hundred (300) feet on each side o the centre of said vein for surface purposes. [not legible] at the monument upon which this notice is placed and running seven hundred and fifty (750) feet Easterly and Seven hundred and fifty (750) feet in a Westerly direction. Said mine is situated about five hundred yards Northerly from the “ Lone Star “ mine and about one half of one mile South Easterly from the “Champion Mine” and about one hundred and fifty yards Easterly from the Northern boundary line of the “ Independence” mine in El Dorado mining District Lincoln County Nevada and Shall be known on the Columbia Mining Company [not legible] on the ground this 2nd day of July A.D. 1880 S.
