Alphabetical research files, 1990-2016

This series is comprised of the research files mainly from the 1980s to 2015 compiled by Dennis McBride in writing his book, Out of the Neon Closet: Queer Community in the Silver State. Files include biographical sketches of notable personalities (political, religious, celebrity, activist) in Las Vegas, information on LGBTQ organizations (both political, social, civic), and material documenting significant events in the Las Vegas LGBTQ community. Other files focus on associations and initiatives that have been important to the LGBTQ community.
